Unstratified artefacts recovered on the section of Happisburgh beach between the start of the concrete sea wall behind Doggett's Lane and Cart Gap.

Found on the beach surface, north-west of Cart Gap in area centred [1] (Context 1):
1 Lower Palaeolithic flint handaxe. Sub-triangular, in glossy grey flint. Heavily rolled. See drawings (S1) and (S2).
