Summary

Metal-detecting between 2009 and 2017 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins and a range of other, Early/Middle Bronze Age, Iron Age to Early Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Early/Middle Bronze Age chisel or awl; an Iron Age/Roman terret; Roman brooches and a key handle; Early Saxon brooches; a Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount; a medieval horse harness pendant and sword pommel; a medieval/post-medieval skillet handle and coin weight and a post-medieval lead weight.
