Summary

A plastered timber frame one and a half storey cottage with a thatched roof covered with corrugated iron. The slightly off-centre axial stack suggests a hall and parlour of equal sizes with the services next to the doorway. Thought to date from the 18th century

Cottage is marked on the 1840 tithe map. It is a plastered timber frame of one and a half storeys (although no light to attic) with a thatched roof covered with corrugated iron. The ground floor has a ceiling height of about 1.6m. The slightly off-centre axial stack suggests a hall and parlour of equal sizes with the services next to the doorway. It is currently used for storage.
