Full Description
The school was built in 1872 and originally comprised two rooms. The building was extended in 1903 to have an additional room to the rear and again the 1960s with the addition of a flat-roofed extension. The building is constructed in the plain Board School style from brick with a slate roof. The ornate bell tower shown on the 1872 plan is still present with the addition of a Boer War memorial plaque placed beneath the tower during the 1903 extension.
