Full Description
March 2009. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of new classroom.
No archaeological finds or features were encountered. The school is located on glebe land owned by the church since the medieval period, and this site was almost certainly located outside of the built-up area during the Late Saxon and medieval periods.
