Summary

A cropmark of an undated possible curvilinear ditch feature is visible on aerial photographs. It is difficult to be certain that this feature is archaeological, as there are a great number of geological features showing as cropmarks in this area, and as the feature is only visible on one photographic frame it has been mapped with a note of caution. If it is archaeological, it is possible that it represents an oval enclosure or ring ditch, and may date to the late prehistoric period. It is also possible that it simply represents the edge of a pit or tree-line, and has therefore been recorded with caution.
