Full Description
October 2009. Norfolk NMP.
A few fragmentary linear ditches are visible as positive cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 1542 1859. They are visible to the east of, and perpendicular to, a possible paleochannel. It is possible that they relate to land drainage, although it is difficult to tell as they are very faint. It may also be possible that they are the fragmentary remains of a possible trackway, although it is difficult to be certain as the ditches appear to run parallel to each other for short distances (up to 20m) at TG 1543 1859 and TG 1540 1859, but they are so fragmentary it is hard to tell.
E. Bales (NMP), October 2009.
