Summary

Metal-detecting in 2009 and between 2019 and 2023 recovered Roman and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and a number of other Late Iron Age/Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include Late Iron Age/Roman brooches; a Roman brooch; a Roman/Early Saxon strap end; an Early Saxon sleeve clasp; medieval and post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness pendant, mount, lead seal matrix and lead alloy ampulla fragment; a medieval/post-medieval quatrafoil mount, copper alloy vessel fragment and lead alloy token or weight and a post-medieval harness mount.
