Summary

Metal detecting in 2009 recovered a Roman coin. A systematic survey of part of this field in 2013/2014 recovered Mesolithic/Early Neolithic, Early Neolithic, Neolithic and Late Neolithic or later worked flints, several undatable burnt flints, a post-medieval coin and a post-medieval decorative harness fitting.

Survey of proposed route of Dudgeon Offshore Windfarm onshore cable (Fields 123 and 197).
Finds recovered at this location included:
6 undatable burnt flints.
2 prehistoric flint flakes.
1 Mesolithic/Early Neolithic re-used flint tool or core.
1 Early Neolithic retouched flint blade and 1 flake.
1 Neolithic polished flint axehead fragment.
1 Late Neolithic or later flint core and 1 flake.
1 post-medieval coin and 1 decorative harness fitting.
