Summary

Mesolithic/Early Neolithic, Neolithic and prehistoric flints were recovered from the surface of this field in 2009. Subsequent metal-detecting in 2010 and 2024 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and several other metal objects, including a Late Bronze Age gold and copper alloy penannular ring; a medieval key fragment and a post-medieval knife end stop and spur fragment.
