Summary

A geophysical and fieldwalking survey between 2002 and 2003 recorded a scatter of pit-type features and possible former field boundaries. Fieldwalking finds included a flint blade, possible Neolithic flint core, two flint flakes, a fragment of possible Roman and post-medieval ceramic building material.

November 2002 - January 2003. Geophysical and fieldwalking survey. Bacton to King's Lynn pipeline plot 190-193.
A scatter of pit-type anomalies were recorded by the geophysical survey and may correspond with the soilmark indicating a trackway (NHER 15399) and former field boundaries seen on the 1837 tithe map and ordnance survey 1889 map. Fieldwalking recovered a flint blade, possible Neolithic flint core, two flint flakes, a fragment of possible Roman and post-medieval ceramic building material, post-medieval bottle glass and one sherd of post-medieval pottery.
