Summary

A geophysical survey between 2002 and 2003 recorded linear anomalies probably relating to former field boundaries and ponds seen on the 1839 tithe map and the 1891 ordnance survey map. The fieldwalking survey recovered two flint flakes, two post-medieval pottery sherds, a piece of post-medieval bottle glass, post-medieval ceramic building material and three fragments of post-medieval clay pipe.

Linear anomalies detected by the geophysical survey were probably part of a former field system and could relate to several former field boundaries shown on the 1839 tithe map and 1891 ordnance survey map. Fieldwalking recovered two flint flakes, two post-medieval pottery sherds, a piece of post-medieval bottle glas, post-medieval ceramic building material and three fragments of post-medieval clay smoking pipe.
