Summary

A fieldwalking survey conducted between 2002 and 2003 recovered a possible Bronze Age flint hammer, flint flakes, four burnt flints, two sherds of medieval pottery, fragments of post-medieval ceramic building material and two pieces of slag. Metal detecting located a medieval silver coin.

November 2002 - Janaury 2003. Geophysical, metal detecting and fieldwalking survey. Bacton to King's Lynn pipeline plot 122.
The geophysical survey detected a spread of megnetic anomalies of unknown origin. Fieldwalking recovered a possible Bronze Age flint hammer, flint flakes, four burnt flints, two sherds of medieval pottery, fragments of post-medieval ceramic building material and two pieces of slag. Metal detecting located a medieval silver coin.
