Summary

A metal detecting survey between 2002 and 2003 recovered nine metal objects including two of post-medieval date. Fieldwalking also recovered finds dating from the ?prehistoric to post-medieval period.

November 2002 - January 2003. Geophysical, metal detecting and fieldwalking survey. Bacton to King's Lynn pipeline plot 101.
The geophysical survey recorded linear anomalies of unknown origin. The fieldwalking survey recovered a flint scraper, size burnt flints, three fragments of medieval and 28 fragments of post-medieval ceramic building material and two sherds of post-medieval pottery. Metal detecting found nine fragments of metal, two of which were post-medieval.
