Summary

Metal-detecting between 2009 and 2015 recovered prehistoric worked flints, including Mesolithic and Early Neolithic blades and a Neolithic/Bronze Age scraper; medieval coins; a medieval jetton and a number of other, Early Bronze Age and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an Early Bronze Age flanged axehead; a medieval purse bar, harness pendant and casket key; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy cup weight and thimble and a post-medieval coin weight, buckle and casket key.
