Summary

The site of a World War Two military training area is visible on aerial photographs within plantation areas in Croxton. The site consists of two main concentrations of weapons pits, short practice trenches and bomb craters.

The site of a World War Two military training area is visible on aerial photographs within plantation areas in Croxton (S1-S2). The site is centred on TL 8805 8802. The site consists of two main concentrations of weapons pits, short practice trenches and bomb craters within the western part of the site, plus another pair of bomb craters to the east.
