Summary

An undated possible enclosure ditch feature was visible on aerial photographs of this field. This feature may or may not be related to the field systems identified in the field to the north (NHER 41010) and a possible ring ditch visible in the north of the same field (NHER 53902).

Full Description

March 2009. Aerial photograph interpretation.
A cropmark of a possible enclosure ditch feature, is visible on aerial photographs (S1), centred on TG 4410 1072. The feature is sub-oval in form, although very fragmentary, and whilst it is possible that this may relate to a small long barrow of Neolithic date, it seems more probable that it represents an enclosure of late prehistoric date, partly obscured by geology.
