Map

March 2010. Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks of a short section of trackway or road of probable post medieval or medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs on Thorpe Great Heath (S1). The site is centred on TL 8863 9001. This route appears to be a continuation of the road to the northeast, which is at least nineteenth century in date and possibly earlier. The track is not marked on Faden’s map of 1797, but may be too minor to be included.
S. Horlock (NMP), 12 March 2010.
