Full Description
November 2009. Norfolk NMP.
A group of World War Two military structures and huts are visible within the grounds of The Old Hall (NHER 48447), Framingham Earl (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 2748 0284 and includes the area of the Hall itself (the military buildings are centred on TG 2744 0283 to the west of the Hall), as it is likely that they Hall itself was being used by the military also. The site consists of a large rectangular building, which had been removed by April 1946 (S2), and two huts, one of which would appear to be a nissen-type hut.
S. Horlock (NMP), 03 November 2009.
