Summary

Between 20 and 30 years ago a Neolithic (possibly late Neolithic) partly polished axehead and Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age discoidal knife were found by an employee or Atlas Aggregtes in quarries in the parishes of Lyng and Swanton Morley.

1979 - 1989. Stray find.
Between 20 and 30 years ago a large Neolithic (possibly Late Neolithic) partly-polished axe measuring 165 x 95 x 34mm and a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age discoidal knife measuring 95 x 70 x 12mm were recovered from quarries in the Swanton Morley and Lyng parishes by an employee of Atlas Aggregates.
