Summary

The cropmarks of undated ditches, which are likely to be former field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs. The date of the ditches is uncertain, although an Iron Age to Roman date is a possibility. Finds in the area range include Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, Saxon and medieval to post medieval date material (NHER 49097 & 51590-1).

The cropmarks of undated ditches, which are likely to be former field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The site is centred on TG 1476 1895. The date of the ditches is uncertain, although an Iron Age to Roman date is a possibility. Finds in the area range include Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, Saxon and medieval to post medieval date material (NHER 49097 & 51590-1). It is also possible that the more isolated ditch may be medieval to post medieval in date.
