Full Description
May 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two emergency water tank is visible as an extant structure on 1940s aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 2131 0723. Tanks such as these were used to supply water for fire fighting following bombing raids, and numerous examples were sited across the city. This example lay within a small park or block of open ground within a residential area.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 6 May 2010.
