Full Description
November 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of three possible ring ditches, which could represent the remains of Bronze Age round barrows, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S4) to the west of Harford Farm cropmark complex (NHER 52324). The site is centred on TG 2227 0425. Due to a suspicion that these cropmarks are probably derived from underlying geological features, these were not mapped, but their possible presence is recorded. The locations of the possible ring ditches are TG 2228 0424, 36m in diameter (S2-S3), TG 2228 0428, 22m in diameter (S1) and TG 2224 0422, 17m in diameter (S1).
S. Horlock (NMP), 23 November 2009.
