Map

April 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Several undated linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S3), on land to the east of Hellesdon Road, Norwich. The ditches run roughly north northwest-south southeast from TG 2010 1016 to TG 2009 1005. They are close to a cropmark of a field boundary, and it is possible that they relate to recent agricultural activity, but have been mapped in view of the fact that a Late Bronze Age hoard was recovered nearby (NHER 18149), although the majority of features are only visible on one photograph (S2).
