Summary

A circular area of disturbed ground, which may represent the site of a World War Two emergency water tank is visible on aerial photographs (S1) on the corner of Mile Cross Road and Half Mile Road.

A circular area of disturbed ground, which may represent the site of a World War Two emergency water tank is visible on aerial photographs (S1) on the corner of Mile Cross Road and Half Mile Road, centred on TG 2186 1062. It measures 15m in external diameter and is centred on TG 2186 1062. It is larger than other emergency water tank structures in the vicinity (NHER 53527, 53528, 53530, 53533, 53535, 53536, 53537, 53538, 53559, 53565), but appears to have a very similar footprint.
