Full Description
June 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A probable World War Two emergency water tank is visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 2185 0743. Numerous tanks of this type were erected across Norwich to provide a supply of water for fire-fighting following bombing raids. This example is unusual in that it appears to have been located amongst private gardens rather than in a more public location.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 17 June 2010.
