Summary

Metal-detecting between 2010 and 2013 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and Roman, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman brooches, a gilt copper alloy finger ring and a furniture fitting; medieval dress accessories, a knife end-cap, a horse harness suspension loop and a mirror case decorated with a cruciform design; medieval/post-medieval copper-alloy vessel fragments, rumbler bell, purse frame and copper alloy rings and post-medieval buckles and a fragment of handle from a pair of scissors or candle snuffers.
