Summary

A possible subrectangular enclosure of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The site lies in an area of dense prehistoric ceremonial and/or funerary activity, with which it could be associated. The archaeological nature and significance of the site, however, is uncertain.

The site described below was previously recorded as part of NHER 9587.
A possible subrectangular enclosure of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 2413 0597. The site lies in an area of dense prehistoric ceremonial and/or funerary activity, with which it could be associated. The archaeological nature and significance of the site, however, is uncertain; it is only visible on photographs from a single year, and parts appear to be formed by agricultural tramlines.
The postulated enclosure is only partially visible but measures approximately 14m long and 9m wide.
