Full Description
June 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two emergency water tank, centred on TG 2292 0743 and probable Air Raid Precaution shelter are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3) between Sigmund Road and Trafford Road, Norwich.
They have both been removed by 1947 (S4).
It is likely that the rectangular structure visible on the photographs is ARP shelter E4, 'Sigismund Road by Trafford Road' (S5), although it may be a public air raid shelter.
E. Bales (NMP), 16 June 2010.
