Summary

A World War Two ARP warden’s post is recorded at this location in a bibliographic source. It probably equates to a small structure or building visible here on 1940s aerial photographs, although the possibility that this is instead a surface air raid shelter, provided for pupils and staff at the school, cannot be ruled out.
