A possible World War Two Air Raid Precaution warden’s post is visible on aerial photographs (S1) on West Pottergate Street, at the junction with the former Distillery Street, Norwich.
It is centred on TG 2215 0878 and may be ARP post ‘H1’ described in ‘Norwich at War’ (S2), although it is also possible that it represents an above ground air raid shelter.
