Full Description
June 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Fragmentary linear earthworks, of uncertain date and origin, are visible on aerial photographs, most clearly on (S1) but also (S2)-(S6), centred at TG 2389 0971. The site lies on the margins of Mousehold Heath, and the earthworks presumably relate to former landuse. Allotment gardens are depicted in the surrounding area on the Ordnance Survey 2nd edition 25 inch map (S7).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 28 June 2010.
