Summary

The site of two probable World War Two earthen-covered air raid shelters is visible on aerial photographs to the north of Pond Lane, Drayton. Both of the shelters would appear to be located on farmland, although the eastern example may be associated with nearby houses.

The site of two probable World War Two earthen-covered air raid shelters is visible on aerial photographs to the north of Pond Lane, Drayton (S1). The site is centred on TG 1791 1375. Both of the shelters would appear to be located on farmland, although the eastern example may be associated with nearby houses.
