Full Description
July 2010. Norfolk NMP.
The site of a probable World War Two Air Raid Precautions (ARP) warden’s post is visible on aerial photographs to the immediate north of Pond Lane, Drayton (S1). The site is centred on TG 1787 1365. This rectangular structure with a blast wall is most likely to relate to a warden’s post, although it is possible that it related to some other defensive post or even a surface air raid shelter.
S. Horlock (NMP), 21 July 2010.
