Summary

The site of a probable World War Two Air Raid Precautions (ARP) warden’s post is visible on aerial photographs to the immediate north of Pond Lane, Drayton. This rectangular structure with a blast wall is most likely to relate to a warden’s post, although it is possible that it related to some other defensive post or even a surface air raid shelter.
