Summary

The site of a World War Two emergency water tank and surface air raid shelter or Air Raid Precautions (ARP) warden’s post is visible on aerial photographs on Norwich Road. A surface air raid shelter seems like the most likely interpretation for the structure, although a warden’s post remains a possibility.
