Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 2010 and 2023 recovered Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints; undated copper alloy metal-working debris; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; a Late Saxon lead disc brooch; medieval buckles, horse-harness pendants, a thimble, copper alloy seal matrix and copper alloy unidentified object; a medieval/post-medieval scabbard chape and writing lead and a post-medieval hooked tag and end stop from scale-tang knife.
