Full Description
April 2010. Desk-based Assessment.
Assessment of proposed development site.
Map regression shows no buildings or occupation evidence on the site but indicates changes in the layout of fields. In the post-medieval period the site appears to have retained its rural character with residential development immediately to the north and west.
See report (S1) for further details.
S. Howard (NLA), 10 August 2010.
May 2010. Aerial Photograph Interpretation.
Examination of proposed development site.
Modern field drains were observed but no archaeological features. It is not certain whether the absence of archaeological features was due to local soil and crop conditions and visibility of cropmarks in different seasons.
See report (S2) for further details.
S. Howard (NLA), 10 August 2010.
