Map

September 2009. Historic building recording.
The school was constructed in 1813 and rebuilt in 1873. The school is constructed from red brick with yellow brick detailing and dog tooth cornices also in yellow brick. There has been few changes to the original windows since 1873. The school was originally heated by open fires until after WWII when the chimneys were removed. The associated teacher's house next door to the school is a double fronted two storey building that pre-dates the 1872 school.
