Cropmarks of curvilinear ditches, probable post medieval woodland boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1), centred on TG 1734 0862. They are parallel to the field edge and former areas of woodland (S2), but it is also possible that they may relate to geological features such as the course of a former paleochannel.
