Summary

The cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs to the northwest of Wensum Mount Farm, Hellesdon. A large pit-like feature is visible within the northern part of the ring ditch and while it is feasible that this is a contemporary funerary deposit, it was omitted from the mapping due to the probability that it was a natural feature.
