Summary

The cropmarks of an undated ditch or former field boundary are visible to the east of Wood Lane, Honingham. Archaeological work undertaken between 2020 and 2022 failed to identify any evidence for sub-surface remains associated with this cropmark.

The cropmarks of an undated ditch or former field boundary are visible to the east of Wood Lane, Honingham (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 1009 1295.

Magnetometer survey of sites on proposed route of Norwich Western Link.
Although virtually all of this cropmark fell within two of the areas examined no evidence for corresponding sub-surface remains was identified.

Evaluation of site on proposed route of Norwich Western Link.
Two of the excavated trenches coincided with this cropmark. Neither revealed any evidence for associated sub-surface remains.
