Full Description
March 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a square enclosure and field boundaries of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the south of the Harford Park and Ride site (S1-S3). The site, which is centred on TG 2186 0360, consists of a series of former field boundaries and a square enclosure, 17m across (S1), which would appear to pre-date the 1840 Caistor St Edmund Tithe map (S4), but are likely to be broadly medieval to post medieval in date.
S. Horlock (NMP), 11 March 2009.
