The cropmarks of fragmentary undated ditches, probably former field boundaries and trackways, are visible on aerial photographs to the north of All Saints Church (S1-S4). The site is centred on TG 2158 0486. Finds in the area include prehistoric, Roman and Saxon material (NHER 17039, 23776, 24513 and 40248). For other field boundaries and a possible enclosure within this area see NHER 52151. It must also be noted that these fields contain numerous geological cropmarks which make confident identification of the cropmarks somewhat hard.
