Map

March 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a trackway and boundary ditches of unknown, but possible medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Salamanca Farm, Stoke Holy Cross (S1). The site is centred on TG 2361 0244. The sites consist of a trackway, potentially incorporating a small stock enclosure or pound, within the western side. This trackway is broadly aligned SW-NE and could represent part of the medieval layout of the fields and enclosures recorded to the southeast that also follow this alignment, see NHER 52237 and 9769 for details.
S. Horlock (NMP), 23 March 2009.
