Summary

The site of probable World War Two bomb craters are visible on aerial photographs to the northeast of Valley Farm, Upper Stoke. Two circular parchmarks are visible in 1946, possibly caused by relatively recent infilled craters. These features also have the appearance of former craters in 1996. See record (NHER 24391) for recorded bomb damage to Petersfield Farm, 350m to the southwest.

Two circular parchmarks are visible in 1946 (S1), possibly caused by relatively recent infilled craters. These features also have the appearance of former craters in 1996 (S2).
