A large linear earthwork has been mapped from aerial photographs (S2-S4), running northwest-southeast across Croxton Heath, Croxton, from TL 8588 9008 to TL 8648 8973.
It consists of an earthwork bank, which is visible on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (S5), part of which was surveyed as part of the Woodland Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey (S1). It is likely to represent a post medieval field boundary or trackway.
