Summary

The earthworks and cropmarks of possible medieval to post medieval date boundaries are visible on aerial photographs within the northern part of Dunston Park. It is possible that these features relate to medieval boundaries associated with the nearby medieval moat to the southeast of Dunston Manor (NHER 9745), although they may alternatively relate to post medieval park features.

The earthworks and cropmarks of possible medieval to post medieval date boundaries are visible on aerial photographs within the northern part of Dunston Park (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 2272 0235. It is possible that these features relate to medieval boundaries associated with the nearby medieval moat to the southeast of Dunston Manor (NHER 9745), although they may alternatively relate to post medieval park features.
