Summary

In August 2010 a programme of building recording was undertaken at Barton House. The current plan of buildings can be seen on the 1st edition ordnance survey map (1824-1836). It is believed that these outbuildings were used as stables and a cart shed. The buildings are constructed from flint with brick floors and internal walls formed from clay lump.
