Evaluation of proposed development site.
A 19th century pit was found to be cut into made ground of 15th or 16th century date. A layer of made ground dating to the late 16th or 17th century could also be related to these features. A large ditch containing two sherds of Iron Age pottery could indicate further late prehistoric activity to the east of the site.
