Summary

Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered Late Iron Age coins of Roman issue, a Late Saxon coin pierced four times, and post-medieval jettons; as well as Roman, and Middle Saxon to medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman brooches and a strap-end; Middle/Late Saxon pins; a Middle Saxon/medieval finger ring; a Late Saxon/medieval unidentified object; and a medieval brooch, mirror case, finger ring, and a zoomorphic buckle.

2 Iron Age coins, Roman issues of Tiberius and Caligula.
1 Roman coin, and copper alloy brooches including a plate brooch, a pin, and an amphora-shaped strap-end.
Middle/Late Saxon copper alloy pins.
Middle Saxon/medieval finger ring with ring-and-dot motifs.
1 Late Saxon coin of Eadred with 4 even spaced holes punched through it. The moneyer could be Isembert, a Lincoln monyer, previously known for later rulers but not Eadred.
Late Saxon/medieval unidentified object, possibly a terminal or finial.
3 medieval jettons, a mirror case fragment, buckle, and silver finger ring, an outer inscription on which appears to read AMOR VIN []. The pierced Late Saxon coin was submitted as potential Treasure (Treasure case 2010 T363), declared Treasure on 13 September 2010 and subsequently acquired by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2011.343). The silver ring was also submitted as possible Treasure (Ref: 2010 T361).
